Standing tall at 6’5” and weighing 255 pounds, Miles Kitselman has become one of the SEC’s most dependable and dynamic tight ends. A senior leader for the Vols, Miles brings grit, consistency, and power to every snap. After transferring from Alabama, he quickly found his place on Rocky Top — earning respect from teammates and coaches for his dedication and work ethic.

Through the 2025 season, Kitselman has been a force in the Tennessee offense, starting all five games and contributing both as a key blocker and a reliable receiving target. His performance has earned him recognition on the Mackey Award Watch List, Senior Bowl Top 300, and Preseason All-SEC Teams. Off the field, his leadership extends beyond football as a member of Tennessee’s leadership council and as an active voice in the Knoxville community.
From his early days in Lyndon, Kansas, to his standout career at Hutchinson Community College, to playing under the lights of Neyland Stadium, Miles’ journey is one of perseverance and passion — a perfect reflection of what it means to be a Volunteer.
Tennessee Softball Pitcher Karlyn Pickens - # 23
Equally dominant in her sport, Karlyn Pickens continues to build her legacy as one of the most electric pitchers in college softball. A two-time SEC Pitcher of the Year, 2024 Consensus First Team All-American, and 2025 All-SEC First Team honoree, Karlyn’s powerful presence and unmatched precision have made her one of the most feared arms in the nation.
Hailing from Weaverville, North Carolina, the 6’1” right-hander has rewritten record books during her time on Rocky Top. She owns multiple perfect games, three career no-hitters, and even set the record for the fastest pitch in softball history — an incredible 79.4 mph during the 2025 postseason.
In her junior season alone, Karlyn posted a 25-11 record, a 1.17 ERA, and 306 strikeouts across 226 innings pitched, leading the SEC in nearly every major pitching category. Her dominance helped propel the Lady Vols deep into the Women’s College World Series, where she recorded heroic back-to-back complete-game victories, including a 9-inning battle versus UCLA.

Beyond her on-field success, Pickens shines as a student-athlete, earning CSC Academic All-American, Academic All-District, and multiple NFCA Pitcher of the Week honors — proving that her discipline and excellence extend far beyond the diamond.
